Closer to planets fairly predictable but hey there’s also No Monsters you have to worry about eating your soul whenever you jump to FTL speeds so overall BattleTech loses through scale but on the individual level it’s probably a lot more even if nothing else even a light

Rework it and the laws of physics that make it possible to suit their needs and what you might consider a bit of a Twist they were ultimately benevolent their ring wasn’t a weapon it was an Escape Route because the only thing capable of beating the masters of matter were the

Objects that can take the force of the big bang and not even notice it’s hard sci-fi the biggest scientific inaccuracies within the zely sequence aren’t because that’s not how reality Works they’re because our understanding of science is Advanced since the books were written their time travel works because of general relativity and how

Approaching light speed warps time and space around you changing Universal Conant like the silver ghost do who by the way aren’t even particularly powerful within the setting would result in AI with infinite computation power that can give you the answer to your question before you ask it in theory
