I am answering the most common questions in this video about electric bikes, which I most often receive from our customers in Malta.
Using an electric bike in Malta is a no-brainer as the distances are ridiculously short, but the morning traffic is enormous. Here, electric bikes are still not very popular, but we are on a mission to change it. Cutting through the traffic is easy with the electric bikes and super economical simultaneously. Despite all the advantages, many islanders are still hesitating to switch to electric bicycles, so we created this video to answer all common questions.

My name is Bearden the owner of belovari electric we want to dedicate this video to the five common questions about electric scooters speed and range license Grant charging a maintenance So generally electric scooters have either a 45 kilometer speed because it’s moped these scooters are classified as mopeds which have an official speed range in Europe to 45 kilometers an hour as soon as you go bigger than that higher than that you need a motorcycle license except for some scooters which

Can be unlocked but it’s not officially allowed but in Malta in Malta second question which is very often asked is about your range right range is a big thing obviously batteries are expensive and a very expensive battery will get you a longer range but in general every scooter that we sell will

Always get you 40 to 50 kilometers of range with the standard battery obviously bigger batteries are available and then the range expands another 50 percent the big scooters have 100 kilometers or more what what license do you need to to run selectric scooters all the scooters can be driven with a

Moped license and you always have a moped license connected if you have a car license so that’s the beauty about going electric you don’t need a motorcycle license you don’t need 125 CC license a car license b is all what you need to drive these scooters wondering

How to charge the electric scooter the old scooters come with a removable battery that basically makes it easy to charge at home or in the office some people say can I charge on the public charging stations no these scooters are low voltage scooters not as high as the

Cars you cannot charge on the street it just charges from a normal 220 plug foreign anywhere in the home or the office you take a battery you’ll go up to your house or the apartment to charge one more question we ask how much does it cost to charge

A full battery generally will be 1.2 kilowatts which is 1.2 units of your power at home 40 cents literally these scooters cost one cent per kilometer which is 10 times cheaper than with your car okay require any maintenance what the buyer should be aware of Maintenance the general

Maintenance on electric vehicles is much lower than on petrol or diesel petrol scooters need spark plugs oil change engine oil that always not necessary with electric scooters there’s one motor it’s brushless it’s maintenance free the only thing you have to do with a scooter it’s just like a normal petrol scooter

Take care of your brakes your tires and clean it once in a while in general electric vehicles accelerate very quickly much more compared to the petrol or diesel version that because if there’s a lot of torque at dealing instantly the torque is there so we’ve not done acceleration hopefully in the

Next videos we’ll do an acceleration test or comparison but in general an acceleration from 0 to 45 as a moped you can do that under 10 seconds about the grants here how does it work and um Malta receives up to 2 000 Euros cash back once you buy an electric scooter

That is amazing nowhere else in Europe do we get 2 000 back so the paperwork we handled it here in the shop we just need your bank account and your signature and the paperwork goes to transport Malta they get in touch with you with a letter

That they’ve Grant is in process it can take six months or a little bit more but it’s there and also there is a possibility to pay 60 euro per month right which is cost three Euro a day or yes two Euros a day and you can own a scooter like this

Um all the Maltese Banks APS bov hspc Lombard they all have special echo or Green Loans made for electric scooters electric cars and solar systems but the interest rates are low and you can pay as little as 50 euros a month or just two Euros a day to own electric scooter

You do that until the grant comes into your bank account use that money for yourself and keep on paying 50 60 Euros a month or pay off your loan any more questions about scooters leave a comment below and we will reply
