My brain was playing tricks on me, btw. I see so many plates now that occasionally I start to think I’ve recognised them, but on a search, I don’t see this numberplate elsewhere in my spreadsheet. LOL! Maybe I’d seen the car with a driver on the phone but didn’t manage to video anything prosecutable? I have no idea.

She had a right old mutter about me catching her, so I should think she knew exactly what she had done wrong, and what I was likely to do with the video.

    1. Can't go for the "I was stationary" excuse when rolling past on the blower. Perhaps her name is Katy and in a miraculous random alignment of the cosmos she was simultaneously reading out the last three letters of her number plate (YKT) and asking herself why she had been so foolish ("Why, Katy?"). 😃

    2. I hate to be a downer, but for all those who say "Ha! I use bluetooth hands-free!"… the Transport Research Laboratory and just about every other road safety report in the world have shown that ANY interaction with a phone makes your driving worse than that of a drink-driver. Check it out for yourself, and don't phone or receive calls at the same time as you're supposed to be driving.

    3. Mikey it's that time of year, you need to dress as santa and tell the offending driver's although they have been naughty they will be receiving a little something in the post, the look on their faces would be priceless…🎅

    4. Lots of nutters in London i know that, but Mikey, what's a 'mutter'? Do you mean a mutterer? Or maybe a mumbler? Or how about ' a mardy mumbling mutterer, madly mumbling mutterings' for the title? 😅

    5. Ironic to see that the sole contribution to cycling through the park there is a "no cycling" sign painted on the path -and the path so unmaintained that it's not wide enough for the text any more. Maybe they could just widen the path for everyone. That or someone could use some paint to change the text to "go cycling". I've thought about doing that in a park in Bristol where their annual report considers those messages their entire cycling budget

    6. I'm not saying that people should be using mobile phones while driving but moving in slow traffic I definitely think the law should be changed it's those people on the motorways that are using mobile phones when driving should be really hit hard I'm sorry to say around Birmingham you would be found and more likely have your legs broken like I say I don't agree with that but the people around that area will deal with it in that sort of manner especially if they have their license took from them and they have to pay fines that they can not afford

    7. Out in the works van, my oppo called this behaviour "sadwuppery". I had to ask. He told me it's Someone Attempting to Drive While Using a Phone. Well, the SAD part is certainly right, these people are sad, they're a menace, including when they're behind you on a fast road.

    8. OOOOOHHH that is 12 poinst now. She wil be driving with the bus. And she can be on her phone all day long. Just plain stupid if you ask me.
And some how i really hoping you'll catch her again with no drivers license and on her phone while driving her suv. such a big car is like a weapon in the hands of people like her.

    9. Mikey, I just looked up how much penalty points increase insurance… Fined for using a phone up to 6 points, insurance is increased 71%, But if it the phone fine pushes it over 7 points, it's increased by a whopping 174%

So it's astounding that woman can be ignorant enough to have done it twice!

    10. An army of volunteers on bicycles (and on motorcycles, in motor vehicles or on the street) all potentially filming you. Better than CCTV! It is not state surveillance, it is publicly owned and operated by everyone with a camera!

    11. Excellent Mikey! They're selfish addicts endangering everyone. That's why we have laws, courts and punishment for criminals. Range Rovers….the potential buyers must promise to disobey all traffic laws. They're the same in the States. Incredible. I have yet to see an unselfish status car driver.

    12. The apology to the lady at the beginning… today I was walking a short footpath, one side was flooded. A young woman was coming towards me, on the wet side. I stepped off of the path onto the muddy grass – in my holy training shoes – to let her pass on the dry section. She made a strange sound, one of joy and disbelief, I think, or like to think. Chivalry isn’t dead, yet. Well done Mikey, you’re one in a million.

    13. Just a question for me please, so for us who have full electric car when we are stopped in traffic and go in park mode can we go on phones as there is no engine ? It can't move also when in that mode ?
