A Sustrans Cymru webinar, recorded on 24/10/2023

Sustrans wants better places for everyone, where streets are for people and are not dominated by traffic.

Our neighbourhoods should be designed in a way that makes it easier and safer for people to walk, wheel and cycle.

Through reducing traffic, we are creating safer spaces for children walking and cycling to school and crossing the road.

We are encouraging residents to engage with their environment, neighbours to get to know each other, and the community to change where they live for the better.

Our webinar explores latest practice in Wales and the UK.

Our experts include:
• Lee Waters MS – Deputy Minister for Climate Change, Welsh Government
• Cllr Emily Kerr – Oxford City Councillor and campaigner for active travel
• Matt Price – Team Leader, Transport Vision, Policy and Strategy, Cardiff Council
• Christine Boston – Director, Sustrans Cymru
• Matt Thomas – Built Environment Senior Sector Leader, SLR Consulting
• Huw Davies – Project Manager, Dyffryn Caredig, Partneriaeth Ogwen
