The most important thing to remember when riding a motorcycle is don't get tunnel vision. Don't assume anyone sees you and be careful when taking turns, gravel and sand on the road will cause your back tire to slide. There's alot of other stuff and I would definitely recommend taking a riders course but just be careful and aware of your surroundings at all times and you will be fine
