You can't say it would have broke over 99.9 percent of footballers Phil without commenting on the quality of the player . David Beckham wasn't an average player and that's what gives him edge .He was supremely talented and if the English crowds and tabloids has got too much he could have easily moved to any top Italian or Spanish team and thrived . He thrived like Cantona (post kick ) and Ronaldo (post wink) because he was a fantastic player . His quality wasn't going to evaporate so that was always going to shine .
