The nation of 10 million inhabitants, or just over 2 percent of the EU population, produces a quarter of the bloc’s bicycles. This reindustrialisation success story is the consequence of a growing passion for cycling in Europe. Our regional correspondents report.

Fantastic
Great news.
Even the locals are usually not aware that Portugal produces over 2-3 million biker per year. Roughly one for each citizen every 3-4 years.
“This reindustrialisation success story is the consequence of a growing passion for cycling in Europe”? straight lies! it's the result of trade barriers and anti-globalization. they can never make it without increasing tariff.
As far as I know, over half of the 90% exports are all due to Decathlon (e.g. BTWIN)
Shouldn't have allowed SRAM to buy then outsource to China all the component manufacturers like Sachs-Huret.
Bamboo bike 🇮🇩🥱
A great story, and news to many folk (me included).
Great news !

Very interesting.
That's great that they can make their own bicycles; also nice to know the business is doing very well. It's always interesting to see manufacturing videos.

Anti-dumping taxes?
