The indoor cycling training market is a very competitive one, and there are a lot of big names out there. However, some of these competitor platforms create environments which are so gamified, they lack the connection to the real world. Rouvy on the other hand has all the workouts, events and community functions as its competitors but still retains the feeling of the real world, thanks to the platforms Real Roads.

This video was created in partnership with Rouvy.

    1. I am sorry to say this, but the display for workouts while riding is the worst, most unintuitive I have ever seen, Rouvy must improve it as soon as possible.

    2. I like Rouvy, I prefer it over Zwift. I don't like riding on the trainer but if I must I'd rather see real world scenery than a virtual one. Zwift might have more features but I just like that I can ride and see another part of the world and somewhat enjoy my ride. I have even found some of my local climbs on it so I can train on them and get used to the pitches before hitting them in real life. I just enjoy riding in a real world scenario more, it's much more a simulation than a game that Zwift is.

    3. You was right. I did need to know about this software. I have the Tacx Neo and TTS4 Program that I've been using for years mainly because I own the software and don't have to pay a monthly fee. I have tried Zwift, don't like it. I have tried RGT, don't like it. I have tried Tacx Real Life Videos, don't like it. I own a ton of videos I can ride from Tacx and VeloReality but there is no avatar of me or any other riders so they get boring fast. I've tried one or two other platforms also. This Rouvy stuff is well thought out. I think I can swing paying their monthly asking price especially if it's going to keep me riding my trainer this Winter. Honestly I was ready to sell the thing because I haven't used it in so long. Thanks for sharing and giving us your take. 👍👍

    4. The video proves that there is actually something like interesting advertising. I give it a shot again. Last time 1 or 2 years ago it was only ok’ish. Riding the same routes again and again on Zwift really gets old.

    5. Thanks for this video.
I used the last two winters mainly Wahoo Systm and hoped that they will increase the routes for Wahoo RGT. Unfortunately, they will stop it.
Now I am curious whether I should change to Rouvy or MyWhoosh. Could you do a video about MyWhoosh?

    6. Rouvy is really better then Zwift (just a video-game). That works fine mirroring the smartphone screen to the TV with Samsung DEX (ar ANGIO to non Samsung). So, it's really easy to enjoy!

    7. Hold on. Why were you trying to match the workout power levels. For me Rouvy workouts are in ERG mode so it automatically MAKES you match the prescribed power. Did you change your Trainer to non controllable at some point not covered in the video ?

    8. Rouvy was getting expensive so I left for what I thought woikd be a more comprehensive platform – Wahoo System. Now that they are shutting down half of the Wahoo functionality I think I will just have to default to Zwift.

    9. I like Rouvy very much and the updated search function is really well-done. I am still missing the watchdog on cadence when doing workouts so once that feature is added, Rouvy will be perfect platform, haha.

    10. Does Rouvy also have the correspondent noises to the scenery, like car and bird noises? In former days I used to listen to bird noises (from youtube) while riding the virtual tracks. I somehow need that that for making it more real and escape the living room..
