I’ve thought about a new passport. I’ve sat with the application in my lap for a long time. I can remember hiring a guide to walk across Scotland once, to a visit in Cumbria when I was in my early sixties. Nope.
I’ve walked miles and miles before but no more. At 76 my legs have left me. Shit.

Great to see so much positive input. I did a similar ride in June this year, I landed in Cherbourg and rode down to the south of Spain, solo age 67. Found it a little lonely from time to time and I was becoming more and more ill. After 3 weeks in the saddle I made it home and straight to hospital, multiple blood clots on my lungs and pneumonia….just new I wasn't well…….lol😅 on the mend still…enjoy the ride brother.

I am 64 and I can totally understand you. Way to go! I have done solo journeys to Russia, Turkey, Marocco… This summer I went to Tunisia. I get that feeling of freedom and adventure looking at this. I will follow with interest!

Nice. I rode 15000 km from Cape Town to Kenya and back on the Motoz gps tyre that you have. perfect tyre for the job. replaced my V-strom with a BMW only because there is a BMW dealer in every country in Africa should there be problems. Have a great trip.
A great first vlog ,I've subscribed ,so now there is 2 of us.
We remember riding off the ferry at Portsmouth we went to a B&B and spent the evening there. It took a bit to adjust to riding on left as we are from Canada. It was a wonderful part of our trip to Europe. The trip from Bilboa had been excellent. Thanks for sharing I will never forget the roundabout under the Freeway.
