About Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road
Timmelsjoch is the highest border pass in Austria. The ride to Timmelsjoch is a great climb to pick if you want to go for your first try with a European high alpine road. The climb is easier than other European high alpine roads because it offers many descents and plateaus where you can rest your legs. The ride starts with a flat warm-up through the town of Sölden. From Sölden you ride through the beautiful Ötztal valley. The segment through the valley offers descents and plateaus where you can rest your legs. In a distance, you can see some beautiful glaciers. When you turn off the main road the climb on the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Road begins. After the tollbooth, you have a nice and long descent with takes you to a stunning high alpine valley. From here the last climb to Timmelsjoch begin.

Just add music:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is awesome. But when it comes to music opinions are very mixed. This is why we recommend adding your favorite music to the ride. It is quite simple. Mute YouTube and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, YouTube, etc…) and pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride… The original sound of the ride has been left out. This is because the natural sound of the surroundings is drowned by noise from passing cars, vibrations from the road, wind, and the rider’s breathing.

Another great ride. Memories of camping in Grindelwald. Sure I could hear (memory) cow bells near the top. Thanks
The last climb with 14km at 9.9% average… That's one hell of climb
Is it correct the strava segment link?
