Can't wait for the Bora review
Bling got COVID before MSR , so was under-prepared for the cobblec classics, he then crashed in Flanders, and it was miracle that he won a stage in the Giro – He then rested to prepare for the World's and unfortunately crashed in a lead up race in Spain – It was a terrible season.
Ewan and Groenewegen – One will ride Giro and Vuelta and the other one the TDF – Schmid was used as a domestic at QS for the second half of 2023.
You are forgetting Campbell Stewart who is being groomed to replace Mezgec.
My favourite team. I hope they can achieve more victories this season. Maybe Bling and MSR?
Actually it could have been maybe Bling’s best season ever if he had some luck
Mauro Schmidt will win both WC and Olympic gold, I will be there for both and I will do whatever it takes
Davide de preto and foldager are really good riders, they bossed the u23 and dropped me many times 😢
LRCP: "We will try to do the previews alphabetically"
Also LRCP: Jayco as 2nd team
😅
Why no chapters?:(
Matthews can't be a leadout because of his ego
Mauro Schmid is LR's roman empire. He goes to bed dreaming of a Schmid ardennes triple that sends Lefevre into a mid season retirement.
Benji needs to trademark the phrase "If I recall correctly". It sounds so scholarly 😍🤣
Remember couple years ago then Jayco passed on Jimmy Whelan, who would have signed for minimum. Disgraceful unAustralian behaviour.
The non signing of Berwick is just as disgraceful. If it wasn’t for Durbo they’d be dead to me lol
Where have you ever seen Matthews take the wind for more than 30 seconds. He has absolutely no role as leadout.
Mezgec did an awesome job this year. The number of times he was in 3rd wheel was insane. The problem was that Gronewagen and Matthews failed to hold the wheel.
Luka got a chronic sore neck from looking backwards to see where the F his sprinters were.
Appreciate these previews….it helps the road racing off-season seem ongoing (to a degree). I think I'll be more dependent and thankful for LR now that we've lost GCN+ in the US and don't yet have an alternate option for many races. I do have Flobikes and Peacock +, yet even with those subscriptions there's a lot of cycling that isn't available in the US. Happy Holidays, gentleman, and thanks for all these superb podcasts 🏆
Walscheid to win P-R
I know there is some presenter bias for this particular episode but… some teams only deserve half show.
With Jayco signings you also have to take into account that they are currently the only WT team sponsored by Giant. So the team might sign riders from markets Giant deems important. There were strong rumors that is one of the main reasons they signed Groenewegen. Could be the same for the Italians.
Love your vids❤. I heard it on Spotify.
We want Patrick to bring back the shades since he is in Australia. And the hat! … and the Jacket!
Hey guys, I’m a huge fan of the podcast, and I’m loving these WT team previews. I think it would be great if you also discussed any changes in team equipment or equipment sponsors. Thanks for everything you do!
