Highlights from stage 5 of the Tour de France 2023. The race heads into the Pyrenees for a 162.7km mountainous stage between Pau and Laruns, featuring the Col de Soudet (15.2km at 7.2%), Col d’IchΓ¨re (4.2km at 7%) and Col de Marie-Blanque (7.7km at 8.6%). The latter peaks with 18.5km remaining and has bonus seconds on offer at the summit.

The fight started earlier this year. More fights to come between Vingegaard and Pogacar. If Vingegaard gets his eyes on the overall win, he shouldn't take the lead so early. TJV is a broken team this year.
People may not like Lance Armstrong, he said you only have a finite amount of energy in the TdF. Pogacar needs to learn this. At some point you and team will pay for overworking.

Wow Jai, doing us Aussies proud. Surprised his group was allowed to get that far ahead, but things will change drastically now that he is in yellow. Hard to see Vingegaard not win the tour again. That acceleration up the climb when he decided to put the foot down was just incredible. The others were literally almost left standing, so great was the difference in speed going up that climb.
No point watching this or any other delayed coverage as somehow GCN decided to publish short with result in the title and on the first image. #annoying.

I remember watching Bonds and Big Mac breaking the single season HR record with that very same kind of amazement. 20mn @ 6.92 w/kg and over 7 w/kg for 18mn at the Croix de Fer a few weeks back is just simply that: incredible. The ITA is got to start thinking outside of the box cause right now, it's not working. Feeling sorry for the clean riders.

Wout in the break, making UAE drive the peloton, was a good by Jumbo in the first half of the race
This stage was so reminiscent of the 2019 Giro when the pre race favourites Nibali and Roglic were so intent on tracking each other that they let Carapaz go into breaks unchallenged and take time.. eventually Carapaz went on to win the maglia rosa!

As a Dane i have to root for Vingegaard, but honestly every Slovenian should be proud of Pogacar. What an athlete and a great sports. A true gentleman always smiling and congratulating those who perform better on the day.

MOTTO: WHAT ONE PRAYER CANNOT DO, MORE PRAYER WILL DO THEM. IN YOUR DAILY LIFE ALWAYS PRAY TO GOD.
YOU must know that receiving Jesus Christ in your life will not always be milk and honey. There will be both good and bad times, but because you have Jesus Christ on your side, fear, worry and anxiety will not overrule you.
Also, as you are being saved, remember to save others, tell people about Jesus Christ. You can make a small prayer before approaching them
This prayer is an example: LORD, I don't want the soul of my neighbor to perish, I have seen him or her live a life of fornication. LORD, as you bring her or him to me, I cannot mock her or him. Who am I to mock her or him, Father giver her or him a willing heart, a repentant heart, a heart to change, let her or his soul be changed. let her or his soul be converted, let her or his soul be redeemed.
Even if others reject your Jesus don't give up, at least one person will be saved through you.
You are welcome in your new life with Christ Jesus. Let your life both open and hidden glorify The True Living God.
