Cycle tour through Italy & Slovenia | bikepacking europe | No. 35

We are cycling through Italy. On the alpe adria track we meet Simone who invites us to dinner. We have an awesome time together and on the next day he decides to join us for a ride towards the ocean until Grado. On the way we have a stop in the beautiful city Palmanova. It´s an unique star-shaped town, with its impressive fortress-like layout. Its historic significance and architectural beauty make it a hidden gem in our adventure. Reaching the ocean in Grado our ways seperating. From there we always follow the coastal road, cycle through Trieste where we have our first canned white beer (remember we are Germans) and then finally we reach the next border: Slovenia.
