    1. American Suburbs are not made for Walking. We drive to the Highway where the shopping is. I like it that way. It's quiet near your Home and Supermarkets are not Far. Along with various Ethnic Markets

    2. Produité = dairy. In recent years, I've become more vegetarian, but the biggest thing for me is going as dairy-free as possible – especially when on my period. I was the one who had to take time off school and work due to HELLISH cramps. I soon discovered that the milk was the culprit when I was on my period. Since going dairy free during those time = no cramps. FACTS!! Also, I'm less pissed off by everything lol.

    3. I think aim to get exercise in…don’t focus too much weight…because we are all just passing through this life…it is so so short….focus on spending time with those you love and doing what you enjoy

    4. Don`t know whether a lot of french women still take pills to reduce their appetite as they did in the seventies and the eightes when I spent a lot of time in Ftance.

    5. I’m eating banana chips, chocolate cookies, grapes, and egg nog while watching this. Must. Walk. Away. From. Table! 😂 I actually eat like French people. I’m sure I was French in some lifetime. I’m 50 and have maintained my weight in a healthy way all my life. I agree with eating what you want and allowing it to be flavorful. Fat is satisfying. I intermittent fast and drink lots of water and tea. If I have coffee it’s only once a day and about 3 ounces, the rest is vegan milk. Enjoy your life friends.!

    6. I used to love yoghurt. But I can't have dairy products anymore because I am lactose intolerant. My stomach gives up to properly digest completely. I am glad that I still love fruits. My weakness is I love chocolate so much. I try to have them at less amount as I can.
Thank you for sharing your tips. I love that you tell us every detail how French women dietary is.

    7. This is fascinating. I'm healthy and slim in the USA with hypoglycemia , I love to eat ! The multicourse meal sounds like a delight if I would have to walk everywhere otherwise I'd pass out. I used to live in a big City , do miss the convenience of shops near me , but not the walking .. I was always hungry 😔. I could not, not snack. I also eat a whole foods diet . lots of meat fruit and vegetables .

    8. LOVE this type of video of overall life tips and personal development. I’ve been following you from the beginning and I’ve always looked up to you as my wiser and more knowledgeable sister who I learn female life things from ❤️ I always leave the “room” feeling good, too! Merci, Frederique 🌺

    9. What you said about salad dressing is an important point. Most commercial dressings are full of fat. Much better to stick with a ribbon of olive oil with lemon juice or vinegar. Add some nuts ( good fat means staying full) Bon appetite! Good video and tips.

    10. I grew up in Manhattan. Everything you do, everywhere you go, requires walking. If you are going somewhere- you walk a brisk 10-15 minutes to your subway station, you get out and then walk to your destination, then walk back to your subway, get out and walk back to your apartment. It’s non stop. We grow up with it and accept it because it’s the only life we have- until we move to other states where every activity requires driving. Now THAT is weird.

    11. A whole food plant based diet (oil-free) helped me overcome decades of binge-eating disorder and I've now maintained my slim weight for almost 4 years eating LOTS of delicious healthy food and my cravings for trigger foods have gone (but don't bring them into the house!). Because I eat a lot of food, my tummy is full and I don't snack or crave junk between meals. I would recommend pcrm and Chef AJ's YT channels for trustworthy advice.

    12. Sorry Frederique but your advice is not always sound, for example re eating butter and coconut oil – they are unhealthy and unnecessary, same for alcohol, but I guess we all like to hear good news about our (bad) eating habits

    14. You look fabulous and we know, after having watched your vlogs for a few of years now, that being and looking healthy is an ongoing process and you have worked hard at it. You have taught us to live with intention. Eating with intention (carefully considering everything we put into our mouth), always including physical activity into our day, and to take our emotional health seriously. It is a holistic process. You speak with logical sense and is why I love watching/listening to you. Thank you for sharing your ongoing, holistic, health process with us ❤
