After our wonderful stay in the ‘Green Bothy’ wilderness hut, we find another one on the map that peaks our interest. We find ourselves on an increasingly difficult path leading to the next hut and are not sure if we are going to make it… This part of Scotland, called ‘The Lowlands’, is pretty hilly if you ask us and we ride through open valleys and dense forests. Our tour in the UK is sadly coming to an end. But from here we fly to our next adventure destination. A mystical island we have long been dreaming about ⛰

  1. I enjoy viewing your videos as you cycle as a couple, just as I enjoy watching other videos of couples cycling together as a team. Alas it is so sad to watch them going their separate ways midway in their trip. Please keep up the great teamwork that you both are forging and I pray that you will always remain together. Blessings from Malaysia.

  2. Just discovered your channel due to noticing you were in my old stomping ground the Scottish Borders. It’s great to see someone doing lesser known trails and kudos for doing it with all your touring gear.

  3. Its a shame you didn't get to explore my beautiful country a bit more, you missed so much but maybe in the future you can come back and enjoy it👍As you saw the weather is a bit unpredictable of course🤣At least you got some sun so you did get lucky😉

  4. That was hard going. It was hilly because you were in the Southern Uplands for most of this video – the Lowlands are not all low! The bird was a snipe. I love hearing that sound at dusk or at night. It's not made with their voice, but by the air passing through their feathers as they descend through the air, and for some reason the sound is usually called 'drumming' in English. Doesn't sound like a drum to me! I saw this video after seeing a couple of others by you from Iceland. All power to your pedals!

  5. You guyz are very under rated in youtube.. I dont know why… All the best guys for your wonderful journey .. Really appreciate your hard work…

  6. I MUST comment. I've recently discovered these two beautiful intelligent poised adventurers. Oh, how I wish I could join them, and not just for their adventures. They impress me so much; I wish they were in my 80 yo world. BTW, how envious am I that I never found such a beautiful soulmate and partner in adventure. Such a calm loving relationship between these wonderful souls. I wish you both, and likeminded adventurers, the fulfillment of all your quests. Do NOT put it off. DO IT, as soon as you can. In later years, it's never about your $$$$. It's only about the people in your lives and the adventures you can share. Best Wishes to all…Live your lives with ideals and spiritual journeys/accomplishments. GET ON YOUR BIKES>

  7. I work for a Class 1 Railroad in Texas, USA. Seeing Whitrope Siding made me feel at home. 😅 All of the scenery in your video is beautiful.
