Tramadol is shady business, but than again MPCC the anti-doping group that Arkea and many others are a part of. Is the reason why they let him go, that organisation and all those teams are also not allowed to take ketonen as they consider that to be PED. Ketonen are getting used by Jumbo and many others as well. The whole idea that others aren't using PED is silly. There are records getting bested by riders that were on top of the game and using growth hormone, steroids and EPO. While also weighing 58-60kg. Obviously the material and training has improved on top of dieting.
@Laterne Rouge: Astana got their situation with Miguel Angel Lopez, that as of this day isn't done yet to my knowledge. If he gets convicted I doubt Astana isn't also going to get reprimanded for that. So with that on-going, taking on Quintana is both terrible press and also for your licensing not the greatest idea.
No idea how true this one is, but still going to mention it. There's rumors going that part of the strategy for going for Cavendish is, that if succesful they might be able to sell the team due to the exposure a monumental tour victory would give. In that light signing Quintana doesn't seem like a great idea.
Nairoman 🥳 is back! 🤗
I am Colombian and Uran is known for his personality more than his personality more than his riding. Niaro is overall more popular because of how successful he was and has been.
I’m glad he’s back. Everyone deserves a second chance.
Is Egan Bernal not the most popular Colombian? The only one to win the tour?
Thanks for more giggles!😂
he is gonna be a non-factor anyways, but it's a great way of wasting money!
‘What’s uran won’ is the most honest thing said in history. I’m am dumbfounded how he is so popular. Maybe time to win a few races I think. The lantern tells it how it is
F*CK YESSSSS
If he will make the top 10th it is fine.If he is lucky maybe a stage win but we will see.Too much young talent coming up.Sorry Papa Q.😊
According to my friend in Colombia, Quintana is the most popular followed by Bernal and Uran. This was my most important takeaway from the news 😊
En Colombia NairoMan por supuesto !! El mas popular
when will Miguel Angel Lopez return ?
😉
Thanks for the podcast. Made my day…
Read the comments, and found it interesting to learn that Nairo is more popular than Rigo. Comments are always enlightening!
Living in Colombia for last 5 years, I can confirm Rigo is more popular because of his personality. GoRigo Go! (Btw Rigo even has his own brand)
Uran is the most popular cyclist in Colombia. No comparison. He's a sports personality, like Beckham. Quintana is more a Messi figure; held in high regard, but doesn't get involved with the press and his private life.
… 11:55 … social media king is Rigo … but if is split in the Q that you just mention 'popular' … about that and many other things measure stick called Nairo, why because Egan is good But… or Rigo is Cool But… and Chaves is Nice But… Quintana is Strongly popular agains all odds … and yes is like a political thing as well.
Indeed Nairo mistake was to quit the Vuelta on Arkea last minute. U can understand he wanted to defend and appeal but if he had continued riding the Vuelta he could've had the team and the French media and managers to support him. That got him that silent veto that went this whole year. Now the Movistar comeback there are a lot of strings pulled for that to have happened, including a real sit down between him and Eusebio. It's good for the World Tour to see someone from his caliber back on the pedals. He's matured enough to realize he can be an experienced and supportive leader in the team while making sure he will work for the team's best interests, and if in that path he encounters a chance to lead a race, a GC it will be just an additional gain. U can easily see him riding as a 2nd leader in the Giro or La Vuelta and for sure as a superdomestique for Mas in the Tour.
the emergency siren cracked me up 😂
Nairo Quintana is the Fernando Alonso of cyling
Quintana is more popular in Colombia, ask any colombian journalist
