Let me help you with the bits about Yamaha's announcement. All the bikes sold in China will be manufactured in China. The reason why Yamaha do this is very simple. Importing bike made in Japan to China is expensive because of import tax, duty and stuff, therefore Yamaha can't compete in Chinese market with other brands who manufacture their bikes within China or in Thailand which have a ASEAN deal with China. That's the reason why Yamaha move the production to China.
