The ESD state conference is a further training conference that takes place regularly for teachers at recognized extracurricular learning locations ESD, staff of the supporting institutions in Lower Saxony and specialist staff from the regional state offices and the Ministry of Education (the German abbreviation is “MK”) in the field of education for sustainable development. The title of this year’s ESD state conference is “Water landscapes in the course of time from climate to economy”. Lectures on recent developments within education for sustainable development will be offered. There will also be time for exchange and networking on the market of opportunities as well as workshops and excursions on site. The event is organized on behalf of the Ministry of Education by the regional state offices (the German abbreviation is “RLSB”) of Lüneburg and Osnabrück, in cooperation with the Lower Saxony State Office for School Quality (the German abbreviation is “NLQ”).
