Why Remco Evenepoel Will DOMINATE 2024 Tour De France?

Remco Evenepoel wants to be seen as one of the best cyclists in the world, but to prove this point once and for all, he would have to join the most prestigious race of the year, the Tour de France. And there’s a reason why despite him not going up against the top two this past season, many believe he could dominate the 2024 edition and make it a three-way showdown. But could Remco really win the Tour de France and outperform two of the best riders the cycling world has ever seen – Tadej Pogačar and Jonas Vingegaard? And if so, how is he planning to do it?

    1. I really don’t understand the Remco craze. An insanely good rider…yep.
Yet no one can deny Remco has tendency to get dropped in the most important/difficult climbs. Is he a better ITT rider than Primoz, Jonas, Wout or Pogacar? Maybe, but he’s not far above any of them.
Doesn’t really matter though, the Team he rides for can’t support Tour winner.

    2. Don't understand the glorious pronouncements about Remco. He's not that good. He totally failed in the Vuelta. He's not up to the same level as Jonas or Tadej or many other riders. He thinks he is better than he has shown.

    3. He's still on the wrong team if he wants to beat Pogacar's points and GT tallies. He might never win the Tour if he sticks to long with any team that fashions itself as "the wolf pack". The team only works well together on stages and the classics. I'm already impressed that Evenepoel managed to win the 2022 Vuelta. And this "day without" this time really came out of nowhere. What that tells me is that even he doesn't realize how badly managed his team is.

    4. 3 billion people watched this year's tour? I find that very hard to believe.
Sounds to me like you arrived at that number by adding up the viewership of every individual stage, which is nonsense.

Also Remco joining Israel Premiertech wouldn't make any sense. Their team is just as ill suited to support him, as his current team.

    5. The 2024 Tour is a race between Pog, Vinge and most likely Rog and at a distant fourth comes Remco. Thinking anything else is delusional. Doesn't mean he's a bad GT rider, he has just yet to prove he's even close to being a great GT rider.

    6. Not everyone that wins the Vuelta is a Le Tour winner and not everyone that gets dropped by every A-lister they race against in the two GTs they partake in all year and then avoids having to be chased down and/or race against said A-Listers by losing time on top of losing time or “getting sick” during a tour that this video thinks he can win next year, wins Le Tour either.

    7. He is only 23 and was 1 year inactif in prof cycling because of his fall in that ravine ! he had to build up from 0 and STILL he managed to win more than 50 prof stages in his young career. How much riders can show such papers ??? He still must learn to ride more tactical and learn to save his energy in somme races. He DONT need a lot of TT stages in a big tour to win. Because vingegaard is also a good TT rider, last tour he beated Pogacar with a lot of time….

    8. In Remco's last TT in the Giro he looked like a corps when he finished. Look back to the vids of the last giro how remco finished, he was looking verry terrible ! You dont have to ba a docter to see this….

    9. Remco whining at the beginning of the Vuelta didn't do much to dispel the 'prima donna' notions. He needs to 'shut up and RACE'! Let your legs speak for you young man, and all will be fine; stay humble and hungry; keep worrying about "public perception" and other such nonsense, and watch your worst fears come true.
