Baltimore, Maryland — On November 7, 2023, around 12:35 p.m., District Action Team or ‘DAT’ officers were performing proactive patrol in the area due to recent shootings, and had attempted to stop a man, later identified as 27-year-old Hunter Jessup, who they believed was armed, on Brunswick Street near Wilkens Avenue. Jessup ran after officers asked him to lift his shirt as they checked for weapons. During the foot chase, Jessup is seen holding a Glock 23 and firing at least one shot, which struck a parked Ford Focus. After Jessup broke an attempted tackle by one officer, police officers then fired a total of 36 rounds at Jessup, striking him. Jessup was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, where he was pronounced dead.

Nice to see a female cop run straight to the danger and take action. You don't see that very often.
The officer wearing the first body cam should be seriously evaluated. He definitely appeared to be going through something.
Jump out boys are a different ball game when it comes to policing. Thus, and regardless, don't pull a gun out when being chased by police. This guy earned his Darwin award noblily. Thoughts for the officers, espcially dude who lost his voice, that's not where he wanted to be nor do that day…
Whats with officer dumb dumb who runs up to the guy unarmed and just falls over. What was she doing? trying to get herself shot? Please get her off the force. That was idiotic
Зачем лежачего расстреливать толпой?
the girl has heart
That officer was literally pointing a loaded firearm directly towards his fellow officers.
very sorry for the ford car
Eh the people of Baltimore just hit the lottery
female cop again, was useless and on her ass when they caught up to him. atleast her nails were pretty🙄
hanno rischiato di colpirsi a vicenda
😂😂😂
my boy zooming 🏃🏃🏃🏃
Is that the same street?
O cara ficou todo furado.
That female officer tackling that guy with a gun is a true madlad or whatever the female equivalent of that is… 😅😅
I know where this is. This is on the block on Route 1 between Brunswick and Millington. It's a very dangerous area- the southernmost part of the really dangerous neighborhoods in West Baltimore.
But man. Some of the comments in this section are cold-blooded. BPD massacred the bejesus out of that guy.
The veritable balls on that woman cop who tried tackling him after jumping from the van, knowing he had a gun in his hands. Unreal. Then to have the awareness to stop firing as one of her coworkers wanders about while people are shooting. Unbelievable work
the female officer not only the one trying to go hands on but being the only one to practice muzzle discipline and stay fairly calm is impressive. not to sound sexist, im just used to many examples of female officers not being this.
Dear GoPro. Make a body camera that has video stabilization. Jesus.
