At times, it can be obvious when someone is struggling to cope. But sometimes the signs are harder to spot. Check in on those around you.

    1. It's rarely the ones you'd expect. A friend of mine committed suicide two years ago and he was one of the most cheerful people I know.
And then I got the message about him. It was especially devastating, because he introduced me to my now ex-wife. It felt exactly like the video.
Still haunts me to this day.

    2. Sometimes the happiest looking people are truly the saddest. They don't know what to do and pushing their pain on another doesn't seem to be an option. So they smile and pretend…. Until it is too much.

    3. This makes me cry everytime i see it, which also makes me realise that i do actually have emotions after all, as with my current mental health situation i find it very difficult to show any whatsoever…. thankyou to yourselves for making this and thankyou to all that are helping everyone with mental health issues ❤

    4. This video makes me emotional. It doesn't matter which football club you support or where you live, nothing is more important than a human life. Ynwa. ❤️

    5. I am the guy on the right…… now….. on the obvious part..seem ok… happy… but I am far from that, and wish I didn't feel like that… but I do…. and no matter how and want to change that… I can't…. its so hard….hope I am still here soon…

    6. That moment.. when he gave his friend his scarf.. he made the decision deep inside his soul. He watched the game with a different glimmer. As if he was savoring watching it for the last time.

    7. This is sooo powerful –
never NOT pay attention to those around you; people reach out for help in so many different ways, we all need to educate ourselves on how to read these signs and hold out our hand in support 🥰🥰

    8. An F.C… it took an F.C to make what has to be one of the most powerful mental health videos I have ever seen. There is a reason it’s been viewed so many times, cause it hits the nail on the head. An F.C did this, not a gov or a college… an F.C… thank you Norwich. From all of us.

    9. It is for this and other reasons that it's very important to understand that depression is a very serious illness and that people often don't show clear signs, or if they do, they are many times ignored by others – sometimes, people just think it's something temporary, but that's never the case.

Depression is a very serious and often silent illness.

There are people who doesn't show any signs that they are physically ill, because they smile, they joke, they laugh at things in life, they are funny, but deep inside they feel completely alone, lost, deeply shaken and hopeless, with no perspective in life nor do they see a bright future or anything related to it.

There is complete hopelessness and disillusionment about all the things that are part of our existence.

Therefore, always be attentive, kind and try to take care of the people you love and care about (not only those – also the ones you don't know well if you can offer some help – but I'm speaking about the ones you love and care about because you are closer to those people): often these people are on the edge of the abyss, death and suffer in complete silence.

By the time you recognize the suffering that person has been going through, it may be too late.

Everyone, please take care of your mental health.
      Incredible message/campaign. Congratulations, Norwich!
