About Grossglockner (Franz-Josefs-Höhe) from Pockhorn
Very few roads in the world get you to the highest mountain in the country. One of those rare rides is the ride to Franz-Josefs-Höhe. It is a stunning ride with extraordinary views of mountains and glaciers. It ends with jaw-dropping views of the highest mountain in Austria, Grossglockner. The rides start in Pockhorn. From here there are three segments to the top. The first segment is the most difficult section with double-digit gradients. As you get to the top of this segment, you can rest your legs and enjoy a nice descend. The next climb is easier and not as steep as the first segment. The views on this climb are awesome. Right in front of you, you can see Grossglockner in a distance. After a small descent, you get to the last climb. It is short but steep. But it takes you up close to Grossglockner with its extraordinary scenery. Franz-Josefs-Höhe is a very popular tourist destination, so expect to share the road with cars and motorcycles.

Add music to the ride:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is awesome. But when it comes to music opinions are very mixed. This is why we recommend adding your favorite music. It is quite simple to add it yourself. Mute YouTube and open a browser window. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, YouTube, etc…) and pick the music you like, and enjoy the ride… The original sound of the ride has been left out. The natural sound of the surroundings is simply drowned by noise from passing cars, vibrations from the road, wind, and the rider’s breathing.

Amazing ride. Thanks for share.
I was there
I’ve been indoor cycling now for 2 years. There are so many impressive cycling trainers to choose from now days.
These “Bike the World “ VR “ rides are 2nd to none. It’s now been my favorite, and really don’t train on any of the others, not even my own GoPro local rides.
I was so excited to just now to try another to start my week.
Thanks again, you for sharing the world 🌍🚵🏻♂️
Satisfied indoor cycling with this great ride and with Spotify !
Wenn ich meine Lieblingsmusik anhören soll, kann ich gleich ein besseres Video (mit Musik) anschauen
