      If Anthony Gordon chose Scotland that would be a pretty good and complete side they would have for these Euros. When you think about it having him attacking could be Awesome. I hope he does choose Scotland now.

      England are not clear favourites drawing with north Macedonia and having Henderson start every game there is a lot of talented players there though

      Talking about the human element of it is interesting because I think one of the big things keeping Southgate in the job is that the players really like him, he makes them very comfortable

      But js he letting that rule his choices too much?? I think so.

      There’s no reason Henderson should be in the squad and JWP isn’t.

      No reason Rashford should be in that squad and Sterling isn’t.

      And personally I’d of replaced Pickford. Squads have to evolve.

      England will not win anything with Southgate in charge. Hes got some good or even world class players but hes too reliant on the ones that he "trusts" while the ones he trusts is either playing in some non league standard football or not even getting any playing time for their clubs.

      Southgate is a stooge. His pick on form is utter PR trash. JWP, Sterling etc all should have had chances in the last 2 games. Rashford has been dire, Phillips get's no game time and Maddison was injured!

      You may feel we are favorites on talent but I would be surprised if we made it to the Final, France are head and shoulders……..

      Great Episode though and Watto is Gold!

      England are miles off favourite😂 they are terrible on the pitch, poor / no tactics, weak defensively, weak in attack, relying on one man is a recipe for failure, and behind Kane noone even gets the game time to develop an understanding with the other players. Other than Bellingham they are remarkably average. They struggle vs smaller teams, the moment they face a half decent team they will get rolled over

      Unfortunately as much as I'd love to see England win the Euro I just see Southgate bottling it when we face a tough team. I saw the same mistakes he's made in past tournaments during the last two games against Malta and North Macedonia. He won't take players he should take as he'll pick favourites. He'll play negative football the way through even though it won't suit the majority of the players he'll start, we'll go down a goal and then he'll make some late subs and we'll get knocked out, probably in the quarters. He's done a fantastic job but I think it's time he left and they got someone else in, if that means getting someone foreign then so be it. This obsession that the FA have with Southgate is why we'll probably end up losing possibly the best squad we've had maybe ever and won't have won anything. Also they have this obsession with not pick foreign managers because the last one didn't work out and I also think they want an English manager to win something so people can't say we had to get someone else in to do it for us.

      England beat Iran, Wales & Senegal at the WC. Respectfully, teams they should be beating before losing to France.
      Sterling got the only goals of the group stage at the home Euros & they avoided Portugal, Spain, Netherlands, France & Belgium before losing to Italy. What's the likelihood of that being the case again?

      I definitely think England has enough quality players to win something, but clearly something is lacking to get them there.
      And thats without Southgate picking favourites.
