as an american i have to say that at this point i just dont believe theres even a single person in the entire military infrastructure that has any idea what they are talking about anymore. these guys are entertainers and tabloid editorialists nothing more.
I'm baffled that there is even any discussion about having elections in Ukraine when a substantial part of the country is occupied by a hostile foreign country. How would it even be possible to do it in a fair way? It's a ridiculous proposition to start with.
Odessa has always been historically Russian. Catherine the Great had the city built, it was just a mosquito infested swamp until the Russians arrived. Read some history books.
