Where the people of Kyiv Ukraine go to Cycle at speed – Kyiv Velodrome – Cycle drome – Travel Guide

Kyiv Velodrome (Cycle Drome to the locals) is where those serious about cycling at speed go to cut loose and compete against the best of the best. This place was once turned into a car park however thanks to keen Ukrainian cyclists the Velodrome was saved from corrupt developers who had been intent on putting up more apartments for the sake of profit. Thankfully health, history and community won and the Kyiv Velodrome was opened once again in 2017 – over a hundred years from when it first opened in 1913. The Kyiv Velodrome can be found at Vulytsya V’yacheslava Lypynsʹkoho, 15, Kyiv, 02000. It’s a beautiful neighbourhood and worthy of your time if you are visiting Kyiv Ukraine.
