We were eliminated from the Carabao Cup with a 3-1 defeat against West Ham United at London Stadium on Wednesday night.
An unfortunate Ben White own goal saw the home side go into the half-time break with a one-goal lead, before Mohammed Kudus scored early in the second half for 2-0. Jarrod Bowen added a third with half an hour to go. Martin Odegaard netted a consolation late on.

Glad that we lost this game. It will act as a catalyst against Newcastle at St. James Park. Nevertheless it's gonna be a tough one to crack, hopefully we will come out with a draw which is still not bad considering the present form of Newcastle. Let's hope it'll be one of those occasions where Newcastle struggles to find their rhythm as they are sometimes do.

Stupid team. We will never win anything with the likes of Tomiyasu and Havertz on the roster. At this rate, The Spurs will will a treble before we even lift another FA or League Cup.
I'd be curious to see Odegaard play more often in that LCM position, maybe more assists, more crossing, he also seems to shoot better from that angle than when cutting inside. Seeing him pair with Martinelli could be interesting, a more forward facing winger. It also seems to me that Rice is more comfortable towards the right than when playing in the Xhaka position.

We might be disappointed and worried about what happen in this game, but please respect and support this teams in EPL considering the improvement they have reached so far.
It needs to be very alarming and problematic for Arteta to see this kind of lack of quality by an Arsenal side, lacking sharpness from Zinchenko or White to Trossard or Nketiah, almost a full team out of form, and it's the 2nd line of the team – more than that, 1st line in some case… troubling display and conclusions
