    2. First let me say I very much enjoy the videos but I can't help but wonder what happens occasionally when the narrator is going along speaking perfectly normally and then all of a sudden it starts speaking in an odd accent and pronounces the words very strangely. In this video one of those times happens at 26:18 in and I've heard it happen on others and I couldn't help but wonder why. But as I said other than a few things like that I enjoy the videos very much. Keep up the good work 👍

    3. Interesting and informative. Years later after Germany surrendered to the allies. Luftwaffe general & flying ace/ Adolf Galland said in an interview. " The war was lost before it was started " .

    4. 2:11 – Walking on cobble-stones is extremely tiring; spend a day walking about Bruge, for example, and you will welcome paved surfaces near the hotel.
12:16 – This was true in nearly all of post war Europe and UK.
21:12 – Favored the commies, since the commies deliver, uh, poverty and mass starvation.
22:42 – After Thanksgiving dinner, ~'55 or so, I had an uncle who, by subtle questioning of my views, made me realize how pernicious the commies were and are. Just some 20 years after his uncles warning regarding the Nazis.
28:34 – Here or later, several books make clear he simply bribed many of them with estates or after the war started, a lazier passes regarding looting.
      29:03 – "Segged". Nope; "segued"
30:33 – This was a 'spike', financed by increased printing.
31:41 – The car was never delivered to the German population, regardless of the payments made.
33:38 – My first rebellion put us on an equal level, which we enjoyed until his death. But it took the nerve to make the statement; not easy even when it was obvious to the family that he had erred.
35:09 – Well, no. "Most countries" did not maintain such lists.
37:15 – That claim has been repeated, ironically, in about every book which covers the Allies.
40:43 – "Two thousand year-old trading center" in NW Europe is Christian? Did the mythical Christ fly there prior to his supposed birth?
41:10 – You have a problem with the dates or the artifacts; one is wrong.
      Kristallnacht

    5. The Brown-Sirted Rohm was a threat to Hitler. For a time Rohm was powerful enough to be untouchable, but with a ardent claim of "homo" and willing enthusiasts to do the act, he was killed. The loyal Rohm was disposed of and Hitler moved on to greater acts of criminality.

    6. My uncle was on a us navy cruiser, and while in the city port, mimicked the SS Troops goose stepping, making fun of the " uber mench". He spoke german, french and spanish, heard the NAZIs disparage the visitors. He wrote home about this. We still have his letters home.

    7. Apparently the reason kids hated cod liver oil as it, was not kept refrigerated and went rancid and smelled foul! My father, born in 1920, said he hated it.

    8. Is this all AI generated, the voice, everything? Seems so off. If this is the case can you please label it as fiction? If not Where can we find the diaries? Thanks

    9. Must have been a terrible time to grow up or just live as an intelligent being able to think and determine right and wrong.
