About the Alsace Wine Route (Mutzig from Rorschwihr):
The Alsace Wine Route is like riding through a fairy tale. You’ll see castles nested on mountains, ride through medieval towns and see thousand-year-old vineyards. This route is a segment of the northern part of the 170 km long wine route. Your ride starts at the town square of the little village Rorschwihr. You won’t have to venture far to see the first castle, the famous Château du Haut-Kœnigsbourg. The scenic road curves through landscapes with rolling hills striped with lush vines. Along the way, you will find wine growers in their tractors busy in the fields and on the road. The villages along this route is like taken out of a fairytale. You will find a few climbs were the rolling hills are replaced with challenging plus teen percent climbs. The ride ends in at the town square of the charming town Mutzig.

    Adding music to the ride:
Most cyclists would agree that the ride to Col du Tourmalet is awesome. But when it comes to music opinions are very mixed. This is why we do not add music to our rides. We simply do not want to spoil your ride with music you do not like. But it is quite simple to add it yourself. Open an extra browser tab. Find a site that offers music (Spotify, YouTube, etc…) and pick the music you like and enjoy the ride…

    1. So pleased this remarkable video was produced and available here, particularly during COVID when there's no way whatsoever to return to the magic that is Alsace. France, you are missed by this cyclist, tremendously.

    2. I have a question where should I put the video on? Computer or TV. Also if I’ll put it on TV how far should I put the stationary bike?

    3. Wonderful ride, but how did you avoid going down between the car and the parallel slats of the drainage grate at 1:04:40 — it made me tense up in an anticipated crash!

    5. By far the most rewarding bike video I’ve used. In rehab from severe difficulties, so riding the bike in front of the TV is a bliss.

Beautiful scenery, perfect tempo but the only thing I miss are the natural sounds from the tires on the pavement, the birds, the traffic.

      So a 9 out of 10 possible!

Great job, well done, thanks for sharing!

    6. Thank you so much for these beautiful videos – this is a particular stunner. I put on nature sounds, so it sounds like I'm out in the countryside and fresh air (with all windows and doors open to aid the immersive element) x

    7. This is the best bike video I've found. I sit right in front of my big TV screen and it's like being in the landscape. All those beautiful villages! It's a joy to drive through. Please provide more of these videos. The image is also razor sharp and the light is fantastic. What a pleasure to cycle indoors with this.

    8. Been enjoying watching your video while I cycle indoors. Do you have map of the route you can share, or a list of the towns in order. We will be in Colmar in the Spring and would like to see some of these sight in reality. Thanks
