Henri Toulouse-Lautrec was inspired by the vibrant nightlife of 19th-century Paris, particularly the Moulin Rouge and Cabaret venues. His life was marked by tragedy, including childhood leg injuries and a later struggle with alcohol addiction that contributed to his early death at age 36. Despite his personal challenges, Toulouse-Lautrec’s paintings and graphic works are now recognized as significant contributions to the post-impressionist age. He was known for his graphic art and poster designs, particularly for the Moulin Rouge, and his work celebrated the lively and hedonistic aspects of Parisian life.

    1. I love Toulouse Lautrec.
However I have zero sympathy for any man who catches a venereal disease from a prostitute. The Prostitute had no choice but to be a prostitute because she was not allowed to have a man's job. A man had many many choices. He even had the choice to help a prostitute in a different way than to take advantage of her dire situation.

    2. Considering he wasn't able to form a long-lasting relationship with anyone, how can you from a medical standpoint be absolutely sure, that he contracted his STD from a specific woman? You can't really tell with 100% certainty and I can hardly believe that that apparent female representative of world's oldest profession was the only one he slept with, especially that his visit to Mont Martre wasn't a one-time occurrence.

    3. Whether realized or not:
All that is an individual's life, is the template created for incarnation, the results of the "Universal Law of Attraction" applied to our "Thoughts + Feelings X Beliefs", and our Free Will Choices.

The key to experiencing amore desired journey is found in:
      1) Comprehending the "Universal Law of Attraction"
      2) Mastering our Mind, Thoughts, Feelings

Requires a habit of being "Conscious in Thought" + "Applying Higher Mind".

    4. His color is so brilliant in the brothels painting 37:17 . The color is so exceptional, you can almost feel the softness of the couch. The color of the dress on the lady bending her leg is brilliant.

    5. Carol Guberman, the art historian, was a poor presenter. She was practically whispering. Please use presenters who are able to speak.

    6. I’m thrilled that I have a copy of one of his works, it’s the ambassadeurs, I didn’t know it till just know, I shrieked in disbelief, I didn’t know he painted that, I’m a huge fan of the movie, the one featuring Zsa Zsa Gabor. It’s a copy but I have it 🥹
