    1. QST doesn’t know a lic about making money, marketing and selling the story. Which is why track and field is more popular in America than cycling. We call that European shame. You have a Super Bowl in the middle of Europe, you don’t leave the all time greatest sprinter, last years winner, and potential most wins in history at home. That’s a slap in the face and he should dump QST and go ride for Israel. Huge Mistake, no principal no loyalty. I will never root for QST.

    2. I cannot fathom why he is not going to Le Tour. I really can't. I understand that Le Fefevere wants to win stages. I get that. But elite cycling only exists because of product awareness and marketing for which companies such as QS and AV pay multiple millions of Euros each year. I cannot help but think they would be hugely put out by Lefevre not taking Mark. He's one of the greatest cyclists of all time sitting on the cusp of history and clearly in incredible form. The global media frenzy created by his being there would be a sponsors dream would it not? No disrespect to Jackobson but if he wins stages will the sport of cycling gain other than him personally or the team? It makes no sense. A sport that shrouds itself in history and mythology of the greats is going to lose out. A real own goal by Patrick Lefevre which has almost tainted Le Tour due to what should have been.

    3. offcourse its sad for him, but I understand the teams decision, Jacobsen is probably faster and you can't really use one one of them as a leadout

    4. It's short sighted or political that Cav is not going to the tour. One last stage win and the record for Cav (and all of the exposure for the sponsors) is worth multiple stage wins by any other.

    5. Imagine if the Chicago Bulls had an older (but still better than 90% of the players in the NBA) Michael Jordan on their roster… healthy… strong… and they decided not to take him with them to the playoffs… or the finals. Idiotic decision by quickstep. This guy won FOUR stages at last year's TdF… and you're gonna leave him home? WTF kind of dimwits run that team?

    6. he is so humble, like Fabio..both are greatest sprinters now, just they choose Jacobsen..may be,next year Cav will get that 35th..;-)

    7. They still could have brought him to the Tour and gave him 2-3 shots at winning a stage. It's a business and what business/sponsor wouldn't want to see Cavendish go for all time stage record? Even if he doesn't get it the attention for the sponsor and the team would be far greater than any other stage or GC win by the team.

    8. Super informative video and for me, Cav is a legend, I remember watching his many TDF stage winning sprints with commentary from Phil Liggett😊

    9. I'm glad to see that Cav's still got it! However, I think that Quick Step did the right thing by taking Fabio Jakobsen. Maybe , next year, with a new Team, Mark can make another run at the TDF and possibly, get that elusive, 35thl Stage win to capture that stand alone, most Stages won in the TDF. Eddy Merckx can rest easy, this year! LOL! 🇺🇸💪🏻👍😎🚴‍♀

    10. I thought it was a miss step to not take him..if…if he'd have won 1 he'd have been the all time great that he deserves to be. And you can't tell me you wouldn't have won 1

    11. It is criminal idiocy of Quick Step. Cav would have broken the record and made history in their jersey, an iconic sporting image for the ages The decision of a very little man. Cav is bigger than QS.

    12. i think ive already made a comment and i know it was a while ago im so pleased hes found a team after everything thats happened to mark the accident the robbery trial and hes racing great but i hate how hes been treated by Patrick im sure its because its because he dosnt want Eddy Merks record which Markhas equalled get any more wins it was cruel but Patrick is like that i only hope Astana gove him the chance please i know he hasnt won yet but hes late training he will win i know he can because hes the best sprinter ever PLEASE make his dreamcome true and make alot of his fans very very happy.

    13. A great race from all the podium, though you have to feel for second and third, round the last corner, flat out and Cav in 3rd wheel was only ever going to end one way.
