On the October Bank Holiday weekend, Emerald MTB had a get together to ride some of the amazing trails on offer around Dublin and Wicklow (https://emerald-mtb.com)
We spent two full days mountain biking only a small selection of the huge selection available around Dublin and Wicklow. This video is from day two.
We uplifted part of the way using two vans. From the car park, it was quite a slog over rocky footpaths and raised boardwalks to reach the summit of Djouce Mountain.
The descent from the very top, however, was more than worth the sweat equity. And the variety of trails on the lower slopes kept us entertained until we ran out of daylight
