I started the 6th day of my tour in Tuscany in the town of Montalcino, well known for it’s premier wine Brunello di Montalcino. After a great decent and a climb or two (of course) I made my way to the picturesque little town Pienza. Pienza is famous for being the birth place of Pope Pius II and for producing delicious Pecorino cheese. After a quick lunch enjoying the cheese I made my way to another well known wine town, Montepulciano. I debated with myself whether to stop and try the wine. But I decided to carry on toward the end destination, Sarteano. In Sarteano I found a fantastic campground and finished the day enjoying a glass of Vino Nobile di Montepulciano.

    1. A sixth thank you for sharing. The scenery is breathtaking and your photography really brings it to life. In my head I am pedalling along with you and getting fitter by the day! Mike you are a star.

    2. Tjena, Another terrific video. Tack for putting in all the effort.
What was the wine like? I love a good Red, you seem to go a bit red faced and blurry after a few glasses .
I would love to see more outtakes.
      Much Love Ed

    3. Great video Mike. I really am enjoying this series from Tuscany and appreciate the historical details. How do you secure your bike and belongings when shopping and at camp (when dining out or swimming?)

    4. What a great adventure so far!
      Tranquile ride, and amazing landscape.

About those shots at 10:30 I know everyone else does that but, for me, that's the worst part, on any channel.
Some people comment saying that they are grateful that you took the time and effort to shot those shots and I respect that but for me it's a big turn off. I very much prefer those "in your point of view" shots or those shots of the landscapes.
Don't take this as a criticism of just you, because everyone does it. But since the subject came up I had to give you my feedback.

    5. I enjoyed the shot of your bike rolling back down the hill. I give you all the credit in the world for not just carrying all the weight of the cameras and batteries but taking the time to film. Your videos are incredible.
