Fallen Tree & Big Drop Off – Kirkhill Mountain Bike Trails, Aberdeenshire, Scotland MTB

Kirkhill Forest mountain bike trails and fun park pump track, just a couple of miles out of Aberdeen on the A96 between Dyce and Blackburn, is definitely worth a visit.
On offer is a purpose built MTB fun park and pump track, with bumps, jumps, berms and challenges; plus 7 or so miles of cycle trails on fire break roads, and heaps of very tricky sections of unmarked single track. Kirkhill provides challenging cross country mountain biking trails, and even played host to a round of the Scottish XC Series in 2019.
The Kirkhill cycle trails manage to provide challenges for the experienced mountain biker, and yet still be suitable for a family cycle. However, if you want more action then cross the A96 there where there are loads more paths, tracks and trails to be explored in Tyrebagger Forest. And for a longer ride link these through to Elrick and Brimmond Hill.
