Why would a 70 year old man get up at 4:30 in the morning to ride 100 miles? I say, why not!! Ride along as I spend the day riding 100 miles of Greenway in Connecticut. It was a wonderful ride except for the moment my pedal crank fell of the bicycle. The ride is something anyone with good health (cleared by your doctor) at any age could work toward. Thanks for watching and have a wonderful day!!

    1. That's some super nice cycling infrastructure you've got there. I'm a little surprised not to see more folks out there with you. Keep it up whipper snapper, from a 73 yr old cyclist : -)

    2. Congrats on finishing a century ride. That is a fantastic accomplishment; I am working my way up to my first century ride. The longest ride I have done so far is 50 miles.

My pedal came off after ride, pulling into my garage. I had to buy a new crank and pedal. It was a lucky day for me.

    6. wonderful video. Particularly enjoyed your comments about food, snacks, hydration, and stopping to stretch.

Quite envious of your biking infrastructure

If you're comfortable answering, how far between your home and your starting point?? The closest "extended" trail from my location is ~ 90 miles away.

      Keep making videos!!!

    7. Also here in Denmark we have, I assume, former railroad tracks which are used for biking and walking. I lived and used one close to my former home. As now 75 > 76 I would like to use my bikes more, but the good life and my wife's fine food, is a hindrance – but I must do something!! Finn. Denmark 😁
