Bit of a sell out mate tbh
People are being weird as hell about the gambling thing in the comments. First of all, tons of people that watch Ben’s videos are over 18, so it’s not about marketing towards kids. Secondly, would you have a problem if he promoted, say…an alcohol brand or subscription service? I’ve never heard anyone complain about Wrexham having multiple alcohol sponsorships. If this is about addiction then be consistent. Third, gambling isn’t bad only if you develop an addiction to it. I’m sure you all know tons of people that bet on sports. Some do it for very little amounts of money, others it’s a big hobby for them. And also, do you all complain when basically every sports podcast has a sports betting app as a sponsor? As an obese person myself, who struggled with obesity as a child, I certainly never wanted to ban commercials from fast food companies, etc.
And I guarantee almost everyone commenting in here has drank alcohol around children, normalizing the behavior for them. So stop going after Ben behind your anonymous YouTube accounts.
