A Danny Kaye musical in which he does no singing
Samuel Goldwyn and Director Howard Hawks took the script they had with Billy Wilder and remade "Ball of Fire". They changed Gary Cooper's gang of professors studying English slang to Danny Kaye's group studying music. Virginia Mayo now playing the part Barbara Stanwyck had in "Ball of Fire".
Lovely, lovely Virginia Mayo … and what a galaxy of musical greats assembled in one picture. A right real treat this is.
