Vienna, a paradise.
I’ve enjoyed a lot cycling there and hope to return after this COVID-19 crisis.
Danke Charlie for all your knowledge and laid-back way of life.

    1. Vienna looks class as well but saying it’s superior to Amsterdam for cycling is far-fetched hahahah Keep up the surprisingly entertaining videos! Abraço do Brasil!

    2. as a viennese and cyclist i can say, that you got a very good guide, his knowledge of history was spot on. only thing i would add: you really have to bike up the hills on the western side, where the turks were defeated. not because of history, but because of the incredible view over vienna. brought relatives from australia there this winter and also others before, all amazed.

    3. I’m originally from Trieste and your guide correctly said, it was belonging to Austria in the past and my city was the most important harbour of the empire. I’d add that Trieste gave itself to Austria in 1382 to escape Venezia dominion and stayed and flourished until 1918, when it was conquered (Italians would say “liberated”) by Italy. So when my co-citizens in Milano, ask me why I am so “German-minded”, I answer “we have 500 years of Austrian heritage and only 100 years of Italian one”. PS: great city Vienna, I love it!

    4. Beautiful compilation and fun to watch ! Should you ever come to Ham,burg (Germany) – we have vineyard in city limit as well and more than 600.000 trees compared to 80.000 in Vienna. And we have more bridges in Hamburg than the cities Venice, Amsterdam and London combined 🙂 . Not quite as bike – friendly as Vienna but on the way to improve things. Kepp your great videos coming, please. And safe ride!

    5. Good to know that the trees are registered, in India too we have trees which are numbered. I live in Chandigarh in Punjab, north India, and all trees are numbered by the government. Even the ones in our home which we planted such as silver oak have all been numbered and we can’t cut them. The horticulturists comes to prune these trees once in a while. Good way of mitigating carbon
