    1. Even if it rains or snows, or if you have a shopping bag or a child on board. Citizens who ride bicycles leisurely are impressive! You don't have to sweat while riding a bike. 🙂
If it rains, you can wear a raincoat, but riding a bike on slippery snow is definitely an amazing skill.

Older people look very healthy and agile thanks to the habit of riding a bicycle.
The grandmothers in my country are slow and fat…

    2. I prefer leg powered scouter in Hungary. Not so heavy, can be used on the pavement, among pedestrians, if there are no safe bikeroads. If it is heavily raining we can scoup it up and put it to public transport. And for shorter trips (<10 km) better workout.
Here in Budapest it is as popular as bike if no more.

    3. Wow
Imagine how much pollution they are preventing. In other places, including the place I'm from, if u are in ur 30's u only get a bike if u can't afford a car and mostly u will see shopkeepers riding only. I have never seen a female in her 30's ride a bicycle over here, really. But it's so lovely there

    4. Interesting how I perceive the video as happy and care free and then I read the blog and it isn't all that "happy-happy-joy-joy". I hope things are getting better in The Netherlands as much (maybe even more) as everywhere else. It would benefit everyone.

    5. It comes to me as America has gone completely BONKERS. In U.S., god help you if a mom carries her kid on a bike like they do in NL and WITHOUT HELMETS, you'd get 10 state troopers on your ass. A judge would book you for being insane and fuck up your family , because you'd be in Jail, where we waste even more money. Freedom loving America!!!!

    6. I have to wonder if anyone did a study on the leg strength of the Dutch compared to other countries like the US. I guess the fact that The Netherlands is so flat makes biking more popular.

    7. It’s nice to see multiple people feel comfortable eating and biking at the same time, much safer to do in a bike than while driving a car :/

    8. 2:49 immigrant woman love these 3 wheel bikes. They didn’t learn to bike as kids, and some of them have problems to learn it later. And then this is a perfect solution

    9. I'd love to live in a place that was this bike friendly. Wonder what the average lifespan is there versus more sedentary countries like the US.
