Oxford Street is the busiest shopping in Europe. Located in London, it is 1.2 miles long and features numerous shops and stores. I had the opportunity to visit this area during the holidays, and it was amazing to see the entire street lit up. Selfridges Department Store had its annual holiday windows display for everyone to view as well.

Hi Ak, take the tube to Hampstead have a good look around there then walk down the hill to Camden Town two different parts of London but close enough to do in the same walk.
Can you go for a walk in some of Londons ghettos that would be cool bro.
Hello AK
Sorry I missed this premier, ActionKid. Brilliant.
I'm old enough to remember when it was 2 dollars for 1 pound. That street has really declined in years, like someone else mentioned. Enjoy London!
A few suggestions: check out Covent Garden, Carnaby Street, and Knightsbridge.
Hi Ken👋 Thanks for taking us down this famous area ! And… I see NYC is not the only place that has to put up with scaffolding ! 🍒😁
Where all else will you be visiting in Europe?
How long did you walk to make this video? Well done. Don't let your walking legs get tired. Greeting from IRAN 🇮🇷 ❤
Hey Ken I think you've said you are interested in non tourist areas of London? How about a tour of the Thames flood barrier? That would be awesome visually.
so then how does the United Kingdom compare with the United States for sidewalks or we call them streets or pavements… i bet they are much wider than our sidewalks. so which part of America are you from? hope you keep safe in London due to the high influx of people who live and visit in London every week. quick tip don't go down Tottenham Court Road after 11 p.m. as there have been a lot of stabbings down there recently. enjoy the capital.
Now you're IN my town,i live IN Chelsea , but even so, regent's park is a very nice part of London
Very interesting after dozens of Youtube videos all around Ontario. Nonstop Muzak with no muting to prevent "copyright infringement". UK not in EU, so EU policies can't be a factor. Vloggers get dinged in Canada, not in US or UK? And Oxford Street does demonstrate a couple of things. E-commerce does not yet gut bricks and mortar. And high cost of living claimed for the country doesn't keep lavish buildings from operating. Who knows? Maybe it is EU money. Did notice a Palestinian motorized convoy going by. So instructive in many ways. No doubt will be mentioned in my next Ontario video. Ken Continuum mentions Action Kid.
Hay Action Kid in London I noticed that there are no street name signs on the poles how do you know what street you are on ?😊
I'll never understand why some people are so obsessed over London. It's old, dirty, the streets are too dang narrow, too flatty… I'd take NYC or other EU capitals over London at any given opportunity.
Harrods is the best.
It feels like the holidays in London. The famous Oxford Street, and I love the hanging holiday lights! Selfridges have nice window decorations, and they remind me of Saks 5th displays. 😍 It was such a lively Saturday night, and thank you for sharing this stroll, AK! 🤗
I am from the UK and a long time subscriber. I am really excited about this trip.
wow in europe now its really holiday there
London looks very nice. Much nicer & cleaner than I had imagined. With the drizzly weather, might be a good idea to invest in a rain poncho.
Remember: There underwear is pants. Pants are trousers. Sweaters are jumpers. Sneakers are trainers. Umbrella is more commonly a brolly. Drug store a chemist, I knew Boots was one chain.
Hey tonigth its the bonfire night !! Fireworks everywhere!!
Great commentary on your travels. Enjoy your visit and stay safe.
Loving your Europe trips …
Loved, loved this walk. The windows at Selfridges are really amazing. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Ken. While in London try the two Westfield shopping malls (Shepherd's Bush and Stratford (part of Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park)). Both are on the LU Central Line and the London Overground (1 train ride each). Stratford is now a transport mega hub as a result of the 2012 Olympics. There are hotels for tourists near by.
You might want to try the Overground between Stratford and Shepherds Bush as it takes you on a more scenic route around East, North and West London, all in fare zone 2/2-3.
Borough of Westminster, not City.
London at first impression seems like a stressful city to live in, but after a while you return to that first impression…
Oxford st used to be good back in the days, i remember my parents taking me and my sister, it was always a treat to walk by the thames, visit the fish aquarium and pop into Mcdonalds right next door for a piping happy meal. Oxford st isn’t how it was, most iconic shops BHS, C&A and others all closed down…
I recommend a walk through Kew Gardens, lots of amazing tree, plants and greenhouses. It’s good especially to escape a lot of the Gaudy consumerism of Oxford St. 😀
Love London! Lots of fun
HMV (His Master's Voice) is back! Hope that they can come to Canada.
No reflections at all with this camera, makes it an advantage. compared to your IPhone
I hate when people dont respect personal space. Sheesh, backup
Hallo Ken. We enjoy your walks, here in the Lowveld, Mpumalanga, South Africa. 🇿🇦I have watched so many videos of London and seeing London with you is really fascinating . Thank you for all your hard work,we really appreciate you. It is 8.30 in the morning inn South Africa .
London seasons greetings are in full swing.
Toot toot to Oxford, Regent and Bond streets peace to the world. Very posh.
Cool, Right at the end I saw the Dominion theatre, I've been there a long time ago, saw the musical Scrooge there. COOL😊❤
Good memories!!! I have visited London twice in 2012 and 2013. Now my son is styding in Cambridge and he occasionally visits London too. Greetings from Uzbekistan.
Good work. I appreciate the context at the beginning. It's very useful to know and most channels do not include this.
This is London? Will not explain
