This vlog is about my Creo being prepared for the wet roads and winter riding. I cycled from Exeter on some fast roads and country lanes to try out my new WTB Expanse 32c tyres. I have also fitted my Dry Tech Fenders for some wet weather protection. My new kit and observations are the subject of the chat on route, so come along and enjoy another great ride and adventure.

Hi HarvE love your videos. I came here to check out what you have for top tube bags. I'll have to look into them. I have the E5 edition that was on sale. Next year I might go carbon.. I love the UK roads and villages I see also. Maybe someday I'll get to ride there. I'm in the USA.

I have the Giant Revolt e+XR pro. I started with my older bike, 3 years back, a Giant Explore E+4 GTS, which was my first bike in 35 years, then I became hooked, did around 16k miles on it. Then treated myself to the new one last month. I live in Lancashire and have also just fitted my mudguards. It's not stopped raining for 3 days solid here. Thanks for your videos. I like your new rear camera that measures the speed of the cars.
Good plan to get winter ready. My idea is to put on or have some warm clothing ready; hate to get cold if out and I know you've experienced that on previous vids. What about the old telephone box at 8.30, that's in an odd place? Love coming across quirky things like that. 15 miles yesterday to Turf Locks and weight's down a tad; all's good👍
Q: do you remember what size fenders you went with. I am going to order them as well and they have size's 35mm, 42mm and 52mm, And there are no sizing instructions on their website. As always great video and beautiful ride. Be safe and happy riding brother.
I can see that you spend alot of time thinking about your videos as I do on my You Tube site for Blues Harmonica called Oxharp. If you have a min then please have a look as the vids go back 15 years which is how long I have been playing. Love the flow of the vids and your accent always makes me smile. I bought the Scott Solace E-ride 20 in the end and am waiting for the shop to fit all my bit and bobs. The shop let me put it in my car and drive to some tasty hills to try out which I failed on my Orbea and it was better than I had hoped as they were pretty energy sapping 29% long ones similar to peak hill so I am very excited to get my hands on it in a week or so.

I actually just collected my Ribble Endurance SL e up from my LBS, full service & new winter tyres put on. Although I have just picked up a dedicated winter road bike up cheap, with Shimano 105 11 speed groupset on it, so my Ribble will only be used on the best dry days until March.
Looking good! I just changed my tires out from 28 to 42 width.
I am still using tubeless on my Creo and appreciate it takes a bit of set up. I have found only 2 sealants work really well and both have the fibers in them. Stans Race and Silca Utimate work extremely well and rare that I find a puncture will end my rides. My tyres are the Pirelli Cinturato 28mm and for winter I use the reflective sidewall, so looks like a Tron Bike. Each time I have gone back to tubes, I get more punctures. Overall, the Stans Race is the best sealant for me as it does not dry out as much as the Silca.
Would like a Creo2, but they don't seem to exist.
