Good video. It’s a disgrace what’s happened here compared to what Ambergate was like.
The station was also known as the station on stilts because the platforms on the river side were wooden and the wooden pilings supporting it were very visible as were the wooden station buildings. It was very unusual and also very attractive when viewed from distance, now gone of course.
