In this week’s episode, Patrick continues working in the alcove en suite bathroom in one of the bed and breakfast guest rooms at Chateau de Colombe. Patrick installs beautiful custom artisanal tiles on the tub and shower wall. Patrick and Stuart also go on a bicycle tour of their local French countryside.

Join Patrick and Stuart on their journey to find a neglected, forgotten, or crumbling château or castle in France, and then continue to follow them as they work on its restoration, rénovation, decoration, and furnishing. Along the way, they will also create and share videos on their preparation for having gîtes for guests, and an event venue in their chateau (wedding, birthday, anniversary, organization or club meetings, retreats, etc.).

  1. Didn't get a chance to say congratulations 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉!!!!
Patrick you mentioned why people follow you, it's because you are real, no pretenses, and I do believe the kindest people on YouTube. Thank you for sharing your journey with us. Here's to the next 25,000… 🥂

  2. Hi guys, the bathroom tiles are gorgeous! I love them and your taste in decor, Patrick you are now a professional tiler! you have made a fantastic job 👏👏 I love the two of you and I could watch you both all day, much love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx😘❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

  3. I do love the bathroom tiles, beautiful texture. Loved, loved loved the pushbike ride around the countryside. I thought " no cars to be seen", as well, wonderful. And yes, I can see you are now up to 25K subscribers!! Well done guys and congratulations 😘😘

  4. Patrick, lots of muscle power you used to tile that bathroom. All I could think was, boy, are his muscles and joints going to scream at him afterward. As far as wall papering, I wall papered my walk-in closet, which has a 9' ceiling, as a first-timer and managed to lay them perfectly. You can, too. It seems daunting at first, but you have to dig your heels in and simply try it. You have time before the adhesive dries to move it around to create straight strips. Congratulations on 25,000 subscribers. Julie from Central Texas

  5. Congrats on reaching 25k !! Lovely tiles- such a great job Patrick did putting them up- so much
patience , fun bike ride and of course seeing the fury supervisor LOL. We would love it it you could metnion the pup's names when we get to see them- I grew up with terriers and miss them so much. Thanks for sharing yours with us.

  6. The tile turned out great, Patrick. You did wonderful. If you can manage that, I know the wallpaper projects will go beautifully. Give yourself a few bogeys, because the first few you hang won't be perfect. Just be patient, and make sure to have your adhesive spread evenly throughout the back side.

  7. The tiles are gorgeous… nice work, Patrick ( of course, heaven knows what kind of job you would have done without your cute, little Supervisor)!💕
Loved the bike ride- it’s always nice to see the gorgeous scenery!
    Thanks for the tour!

  8. It is so comforting and companiable to have a supervising dog snoozing alongside operations. The colours are stunning and your work is so wonderful. I love this channel.

  9. It is such a beautiful house. Full credit to you for being brave enough to hang wallpaper. I would not even try, but I am not handy at all, which is not something that could be said about either of you! Thank you for the video!
