A police officer was forced to pick up his discarded sandwich crusts after a resident accused him of littering outside his home.

A man filmed himself confronting the Thames Valley Police officer after bread was allegedly thrown from a car window onto a street in Oxfordshire.

In the three-minute video, the resident repeatedly swore at the officer during a foul-mouthed exchange in which he accused the young officer of having no “respect”.

In the footage, the man appears to walk towards the uniformed officer before asking him for collar number and the police station he is attached to.

When he receives the answer, he then immediately challenges him in the street by asking him: “Have you got an excuse why you pulled up outside my house to throw rubbish out of your car? Is there a reason for that?”

    1. How did a 12 year old get into the police? He is used to Mummy cutting his crusts off for him. Should have immediately apologised and picked up the litter. The other officer trying to make excuses and spouting about public places and shouting is as bad. This is a prime example of police recruiting the wrong type of person to uphold the law, over the last few decades primarily to tick the political correctness boxes. Neither fit to be wearing a police uniform.

    2. Then members of the same force wrongfully arrest a 67 year old lady for cutting twigs in the communal gardens of her own apartment. Imagine Dixon of Dock Green behaving like this. More police farce than police force.

    3. He’s not old enough to be out let alone a Bobby….typical British police attitude throwing rules around even though they are totally in the wrong and wouldn’t admit it…..disgusting behaviour

    4. Someone ofauthority at the station, sends other officers to his home in an attempt to butter him up with a load of verbal diarrhoea . The offending litter bug should have been decent enough to do the right thing . Now look at the hole he's dug for himself. The other officer is as bad for attempting to pervert the course of justice by stating it's a civil matter.

    5. So a normal person drops say a filter off a cigarette , the council warden follows as police are called to implement a stop in order for details to be taken and prosecution be sought . Police attitude = but it's a civi lmatter – So why do they turn up and backup council wardens then ? .

    6. Well i understand why the guy lost his temper with the very very young police officer. But there's massive big issues in my once beautiful country than a crust of bread 🍞 discarded by just William.. . .

    7. Love this because it's payback for the Police force of today who are supporting all the woke people and arresting a number of Brits who've done nothing wrong but express an opinion. I will never support the police anymore because they are state police now and I used to work for them!

    8. Naughty Little Boy 😮
….above the law as per normal, but what's worrying is seeing a boy dressed up a police officer. Gosh we're all safe in our beds with him on the beat….
