Wiggle has now entered administration, but what does this mean for the wider cycling market? Sam Gupta and Stefan Abram sit down to discuss the implications of this change in the road cycling market and what it could mean to the industry consumers. They also speculate on who could be set to buy the business after it has been heavily rumoured that Mike Ashley’s The Fraser Group could be set to take on the internet business.
They also discuss bike changes in the pro ranks after Lapierre announced it would be withdrawing its support from Team Groupama-FDJ and whether or not Enve has the ability to step in and support Total Energies if Specialized is to part ways with the team when Peter Sagan steps back from professional road racing.
We also take a look at some of the best bikes used at the national hill climb championships, and our choice for bike of the month is the all new Canyon Grail which Stefan has been riding for the past few weeks. Let us know what you thunk of all the latest news down in the comments!

Evans are shit now.
If Mike A takes it over, the brands will turn to $# it
he destroys companys from the inside out and wears them like a skinsuit
Bike companies need to price realistically and stop scalping the consumer.
Prices have gone up so much in the last 3 years it’s ridiculous. They found a gold mine and suddenly the gold stopped as people didn’t want to keep replacing perfectly usable bikes.
If wiggles goes the way of evans cycles, that’s another store going down hill. Evans cycles is not great, was far better when it wasn’t under sports direct
GROUPMAMA should go LOOK, TIME, Keep it French
Didn't Fraser's buy ProBikeKit? It used to be great for getting some excellent deals. Terrible now.
I do wonder how much of the money problems had been caused by the purchase of chain reaction
Never even heard of wiggle.
I tried to order lately at Wiggle, but when I changed from pounds to euros the prices doubled. That way you’re not gonna sell anything overseas.
Rim brakes all Summer, simples!
In my experience, Wiggle’s pricing has usually been the best when shopping around…
Mike Ashley He messed up Evans cycles poor product and poor service . The staff are not happy
The latest version of the Continental GP 5000 tubeless tyres are almost £170 a pair. Let that sink in. It’s less than you’d pay for a pair of good tyres for a Nissan Qashqai
It not a French bike if it all was made in Asia. 😂. The frame is not the bike. It just one of the parts. Show me a bike made in France… you can’t.
How does wiggle going into administration affect the other brands that they are a part of? Namely Venon bikes and Chain Reaction Cycles?
Just remeber Wiggle started locally in Portsmouth many years ago.Frasers now run by Diamonds son in law
Wiggle's green website has been a factor. Plus, no Haribo!
Re-Feather's bike: it's the bike he rides all the time, so maybe he likes having discs?
Could you edit Stefan's bike reports a little or allow him to break it up please? The constant "yeah", over two dozen in just 3 minutes , distracted fro the report.
