♦ The Port San Peïre sur mer or Port des Issambres is located at the entrance to the Gulf of Saint-Tropez, in the town of Roquebrune-sur-Agens, in the Var. Made up of a basin of approximately 2.3 hectares and sheltered by 4 dikes, this marina can accommodate up to 430 vessels afloat, ranging from 5 to 15 meters wide. It also offers a 5-seat space dedicated to its visitors.
Throughout the year, Port San Peïre sur mer welcomes boaters 24 hours a day, providing surveillance and operational assistance every day of the week. In fact, the harbor master’s office remains on standby to answer all your questions and requests, whatever the time of day.
Furthermore, renowned for the quality of its services, Port San Peïre sur mer has numerous equipment and innovations allowing it to provide effective solutions to the needs of boats, but above all solutions made available for the comfort of boaters. Indeed, there are fresh water and electricity supply services, toilets, as well as a multitude of other facilities at the dock.
In 1938, a shelter port was built in Issambres. This first port was placed at the height of the Pointe de l’Ardillon. A few years later, in 1975, the port of San Peïre, not offering sufficient shelter, was moved 500 meters to the west of the first and was significantly enlarged.
To date, ideal for passing or resident boating families, Port San Peïre sur mer offers numerous activities and water sports for moments of leisure and relaxation. Among them: water hiking, scuba diving, kayaking, canoeing, water skiing, jet skiing, etc. Furthermore, it is also possible to simply enjoy the magnificent setting of this charming marina.
A true holiday resort, Port San Peïre sur mer offers numerous shops and restaurants in its surroundings to discover. Indeed, every Monday morning of the year, a typically Provençal market is set up on San Peïre Square and offers regional specialties and activities on the different stalls.
In this seaside resort where calm and relaxation reign, there are also numerous cultural and sporting events, accessible to all ages.
Furthermore, for collectors, from April to October, flea markets are organized in Issambres. They become essential places for rare and precious antiques, as well as good deals.
For the more sporty, Issambres offers the Boating Festival in Port San Peïre sur mer around mid-June. This event is an opportunity to discover and attend different demonstrations or competitions related to nautical activities, such as windsurfing, rowing, canoeing, fishing or water hiking.
In mid-July, on the occasion of the National Day, a fireworks display, as well as a nighttime nautical performance are organized in the Port of San Peïre, with the aim of amaze young and old alike. Subsequently, a ball is also planned on San Peïre Square to celebrate this event.
During the same period, it is possible to stroll every Thursday and Sunday evening through the Issambres night market, among the region’s artisans and their many activities.
Finally, it is possible to attend the mountain bike world cup event, the Roc d’Azur, every year in October and at the same time, encourage the best professionals in the field.
