Tromsø, the northernmost city in the world would act as the halfway point of my bikepacking trip toward the North Cape. Located about 400 km (250 miles) north of the Arctic Circle, it was the perfect place for me to stop for a while before I entered the second more remote part of my journey to my end destination, Nordkapp.

A magical landscape. Awesome stuff.
Your videos are top notch, among the best biking videos on YT, so it's difficult to criticize anything 🙂 I could just say that the style of biking videos could do with some sort of refreshment, for instance by stopping "unnatural" shots, the ones we all know are artificial (like passing shots, pretending there's no camera), finding other ways to film, less like TV (but easier said than done!).
Hi Mike
We love your way of filming yourself riding past the camera, even if it's time consuming
The botanical garden in Tromso looks beautiful
Can't wait to see how you fared with the wet weather ❄️
Many thanks from Downunder
It is so beautiful there !🌟 Definitely worth the extra effort you make to get the ride by shots for us, enriches the story.👍
What a beautiful landscape, thanks for taking us along Mike!
Producing a quality video takes a bit of effort, thanks, much appreciated.
Many thanks again Mike – beautiful and interesting. Yes, the variety of camera angles you use helps make each video more interesting and enjoyable. From Tromsø you travelled roads I had not seen, so that was interesting too.
Nice footage Mike, as usual.
Btw, do you have some tips for a good mosquito spray or lotion? I saw that thermacell you showed us in one of your videos but i prefer a spray.
Funny, as I was watching this I was finishing up my yogurt with mashed banana. Maybe I'll go for b bike ride today.
Another great video Mike. Definitely looking forward to visiting Scandinavia in the near future. Your videos are always outstanding.
Gorgeous places, and another marvellous video. Thanks!❤
Your videos are amazing!!!!!
Thankyou mike a beutifully made film, i do apreciate all your hard work these videos are great.
Amazing stuff Mike! I really need to start travelling like this…Can you kindly give us an idea of the total weight of your bike (plus all the stuff) on a trip like this?
Great video Mike.
Every time I see a ride-by shot I think : Mike will have had to come back for the camera after that. Thank you.
i have followed you before your solo trips and am quite pleased at your progression. don't stop being mike.
First your filming is top, I like it a lot, the passing by shots are nice to see. Thank you for all this work making the films. The scenery is just stunnig. And takig advantage of a tailwind is a great when cycling, it is relaxing and you can cover a longer distance. Lookig forward to see the next stage.
Another great video Mike – definitely worth the effort you put into filming them! I've been to Norway a few times, but never made it that far north – your videos are making me want to go!
Another gem of a video Mike! Was just about to comment on your good fortune in regards to the weather, but I'll wait for the next one.. 😮
Your videos are so inspiring. My wife and I are now considering our first bike tour here in the States.
Another beautiful and well done video. Those ride by's are very nice and well appreciated. Take care, Al
I think it’s worth it. Loving this series
Perfect country for bike touring
Vi älskar alla dina filmer, de är underbara (särskilt Norge och norra Sverige 😍) du behöver inte ändra på något, du filmar fantastiskt! 🤩
This is such a joy to watch Mike. Thank you for taking the time to do this. What time of year was your trip, last summer?
thanks Mike for another beautifully shot video, the weather change looks nasty in the next vid, look forward to it
Thank you Mike for posting your beautiful and tranquil videos! While Tromsø might be the most northern city in the world, I think Hammerfest (Norway) is the most northern town in the world. Looking forward to all your future releases!
Nice video!!!
Excellent video Mike! Definitely worth the effort you put for filming! Very relaxing and inspiring watching it! Thanks!
Love the way you do your videos. I think this video has the most beautiful views of any YouTube video I’ve ever watched. Just breathtaking. Well done you 👍
You have inspired me me to cycle to Norway. What season was this? What time period of the year? I could take 3 weeks off from work, so what time of the year would be the best for cycle touring. I use the TREK 520 for my tours.
Thank you for another beautiful video! We love the ride-by shots.
Beautiful place to bike. Your filming is 👌
i had watched this last week and needed a second helping today. Another excellent report and as always your videography and scripting are wonderful. Your effort really shows through. Thanks for sharing.
Hej!
Mike your videos are incredible, even your musical choices fit so well! I'm heading to Norway soon and these videos are the best preparation I could ever hope for because bicycle touring is mostly about positive attitude and enthusiasm, and I'm getting that from you!
What trips have you planned for this year?
-Greetings from Finland 🙂
Amazing footage. Though a lot of work required on your part, the various ride shots, to we the viewer, really enriches the experience. Thank you!
Very nice. Beautiful. Your style is comforting. Only change what you need to. New subscriber and love what you put out.
