    1. I don't get it. Surely if her car is not damaged there is no claim on her insurance and it would be the car park owner that would have to compensate her for the temporary loss of access to her vehicle and recover their costs from the person who started it?

    2. No doubt the owners of the damaged vehicles will be suing Luton Airport and the owner of the 'diesel engined vehicle' which apparently started it for all their uninsured losses.

    3. My insurer paid out full value, plus contents, cost of taxi home, hire car for the week as they had settled by the end of it money in my account. Had to list and price the contents and it was nearly £900 worth it was a surprise what it added up to, lots of it was mundane shopping bags, cold box, cramping stove walking boots, collected over years big cost to replace all at once. No impact on no claims no excess to pay. Carpark refunded the cost of the stay within days, but their customer service didn't reply to my initial email until last week by which time I was driving round in my permanent replacement car.
