    Biking Shenanigans EP 5 – Porto Side Car Tour



    I went to Porto for a birthday trip and this was by far the highlight.

    This was the best way to see the city and my cheeks hurt from laughing by the end of the tour. João was an amazing host, tour guide and now friend.

    If you’re ever in Porto, I IMPLORE you to take tour with João.

      I am Portuguese, I live in the UK, but that brought me a bit of home to me, so thank you so much. Also at the end, when you were trying to pay him and he wasn’t accepting it, that’s really really normal from Portuguese people to not accept money if they feel like it’s for friends and family and stuff, it really is normal, I felt like he had a lot of fun like you had, and I already had that feeling he wouldn’t accept it, honestly it’s completely normal. It’s the same as if you ever got a lift from someone that was Portuguese no matter what, if you know them, most likely they won’t accept any money for the helping with the fuel, I do it all the time to my friends. But it’s a really nice video. The north part of Portugal is full of beauty

      Oh man. Only just seeing this, and I was in Porto last week! Now you've got me on skyscanner looking for direct flights back there so that I can join Joao on a sunset tour… but not before I grab a bite to eat at Dama Pe De Cabra! Thanks for the heads up – definitely not going to miss this next time I'm in Porto!

      Also – I didn't manage to catch a glimpse of your legendary Triumph in the streets of Londinium when I was there a couple of months back, running into Porto's newly discovered most famous instagrammer while on holiday would have been fun 😀
