We are back racing at UCI level and taking on the big boys at round 3 of the British National Cyclocross series in Derby. Having raced Derby last year and it being super dry and fast, this was a completely different experience racing in the mud. This was my first race of the year in the mud and I didn’t quite have the power needed on the day, however it’s a great experience racing at UCI level against the best riders in the country.

    1. Keep it real George, you can only try as hard as you can, above all else enjoy your cycling otherwise theirs no point, at least you didn’t have to contend with those young cheeky youths pushing you around

    2. good effort mate, looked tough out there but you know you've made it now having a photo with Dave the duck! Get some cakes in, pick yourself up, go smash the next race, you've got it G!

    3. Great racing George. What is you dad like with his out of date gels😂. Look forward to next one. Ps will we see you at any of brass Monkey's this time around?

    4. Keep turning up Giorgio. The sport needs numbers. Without the plodders at the back it wouldn't be sustainable. Maybe something needs doing about the 80% rule. Can't be expecting people to travel up and down the country to not even get a full race. Last year's National Champs was a joke for it.
