    The Home Secretary said the Prime Minister is “putting the long-term interests of the British people, the British economy, ahead of everything else”.

    On a visit to Bolton this morning she told broadcasters: “I know that he’s going to be making his mind up and making a decision for the country in the best interests of our country.

    1. WTF! Seriously, she talks about Labour supporters having 2nd homes in Tuscany and France? Cons don't have 2nd homes around the world? who's the richest PM ever? Boris' dad? People really wanna support these views?

    2. That speech is unbelievable considering the conservatives are in the government for 13 years now. Just talk, which needs to get tougher and tougher, as they don't do the walk.

    3. She uses some of the same idiotic talking points that MAGA politicians in the USA use, that's an actual sign of British decline, not people in boats.

    4. The fact that so many at the conference and here in the comments are applauding when a prominent politician of the ruling party is talking about a group of people saying "I don't care about their human rights" is deplorable. It's like nobody has heard of Martin Niemoller.
